I’m not going to apologize for this, but I watched a ton of Blue’s Clues when I was in high school. I couldn’t help it — Blue was adorable, the show was harmless, and Steve’s dorky dancing was simply endearing. So it’s a total bummer that I’m officially too old for the casting call for Blue’s new owner. Move over Steve and less popular younger brother Joe! “Nikki” or “Nicky” is in town, and they’re changing over Blue’s microchip!

The show’s looking for males and females of all ethnicities that are over 18, and can play anywhere between 19 and 25 years old. The reboot is rumored to be titled “Blue’s Clues and You.” Actors from both Manhattan and Los Angeles will be considered. Production will begin in August and wrap in April of 2019 in Toronto, Canada.

You can apply for an audition through Backstage. Blue’s Clues auditions will wrap up on June 22nd, so you’ll want to apply as soon as possible.
