Hey, it’s time for Teen Mom 2! Remember last week, when Javi made it seem like he was going to propose to Briana? Briana is getting ready to have butt surgery or something, so a proposal is probably the last thing on her mind. Briana’s mom thinks that both of them have a lot of baggage, so that she really needs to think about it if he pops the question. Bri’s all like, “I don’t knoww,” proving she’s not ready to get married.
Chelsea reveals that she’s pregnant again, but since MTV wasn’t around for the big moment, they showed some footage from Cole’s phone of the big reveal to Aubree. Chelsea said they were trying, and said she took a test every day which is mega-excessive. Aubree and Chelsea think the baby’s a girl, and Cole thinks it’s a boy.
Jenelle’s new baby, the house, is still in the process of getting fixed. A sheriff arrives at her front door, and Jenelle seems kind of casual about the whole thing. Someone called the cops. “There’s nothing I did, so…” Jenelle said. Meanwhile. he’s just out there knocking. The MTV producer is freaking out. David finally answers the do and he’s shirtless.
Supposedly the sheriff was called for a wellness check on one of the kids. Based on David and Jenelle’s reaction, this happens like… all the time.s
Kailyn and her sons are taking pictures for their Chrismas cards, and it’s really cute. She says she’s in a really good place, and is ready to focus on her kids and not her toxic relationships. “2018 is going to be a year of success and firsts,” she says. She’s going to do a clothing line, continue with the podcast, and stay away from dramatic boys.
Too Many Puppies
Leah talks to her friend about a pregnant dog she took in who had seven puppies. Also, the whole Jeremy thing. She doesn’t want to rush anything. She has a love for him, but what if things were toxic again? She says she can’t go on a date with him right away, because she has puppies. Which, best excuse ever.
Javi FaceTimes with Briana and gives her good news — he’s not going to have to deploy anymore! And he misses her. He drops the L bomb. I think I mentioned this last week, but Javi’s already knocked up another girl who’s not Briana. In knowing all that, it makes this plot even more boring.
Watson’s first birthday also inspires a photo shoot. But, a creepy one. Like, he’s eating cake, and it’s adorable, but the footage is in slow motion. The family is talking about next year, when there’ll be another kid in the house.
The sheriff is still outside Jenelle’s house. Jenelle storms out and says she’s harassed for everything. She understands that the sheriff is just doing his job, but this is supposedly the 20th time someone has come out. David got mad that Jenelle even bothered talking to the sheriff, but really, it makes sense. Otherwise, he wouldn’t leave. She thinks that either Nathan or Twitter did this. At one point, Nathan told the cops that David was “a drug salesman,” which I really hope is a term that picks up some steam since it’s hilarious.
Briana admits that during her trip to Delaware, Javi kind of just handed her a ring without any sort of proposal. She said the ring was beautiful, but she thinks she should wait. “There’s a lot of stuff that he wants,” Briana said. But Javi is the kind of person that wants things done yesterday.
Now, Back To The Puppies
Back at Leah’s house, the puppies are trampling all over Addie and it’s super adorable. The puppies seem huge, by the way. They plan on keeping one of the pups, which is very sweet — every kid needs a good doggo. The gang delivers one puppy to a happy home, and Addie asks if they can send pictures. The family seems more than happy to. Maybe Leah should have had 7 puppies in all of her segments since the show started.
Chelsea and Cole drive Aubree to school together, and not only do they forget her bookbag, but they have no gas in the car. After dropping her off, they head to an appointment where they’ll have an ultrasound.
Jenelle gives an update on the “house company.” Supposedly they’re using every excuse in the book not to fix it, and David is pretty upset.
Over at Jo’s house, Vee and Jo play with baby Vivi. Jo mentions he’s in mediation with Kail, and he thinks the two of them are on the same page — but she’s a little salty that he wants 50/50 visitation with Isaac. “We hugged it out, everything was fine,” Jo says. Vee’s just happy everyone is getting along.
Jail and buddy Bone are hanging outside with Lux, and Kail explains what’s up. Supposedly Jo filed the custody order when she was 6 months pregnant, which she was emotional about since, hello, pregnancy. But she knows it’s fair. Isaac is, after all, 50% Jo’s.
After school, Aubree sees the ultrasound. In two weeks, they’ll be doing a blood test to find out the sex.
MTV’s Big Decision
At the end of the episode, MTV issued a few statements saying that they’ve refused to film David after his crappy remarks. So, know who they talk to? BABS. She’s enjoying her retirement. She admits she hasn’t talked to Jenelle since after the school shooting in Florida, David and Jenelle posted a picture online of Jenelle holding a rifle. “I know they don’t watch the news,” Babs admitted. But when they got the negative feedback, Babs was sickened by the responses about the LGBT community that David spouted out. “Because of that whole incident, he’s not going to be on the show anymore,” she says.
“I hope she wakes up and realizes what he’s all about,” she admits. We do too, Barbara.
