On the last bunch of episodes of Teen Mom 2, a lot of crap went down with Briana and Kail. And Jenelle and everyone. But before Jenelle confronts her mom about everything that happened with Jace, she’s getting her makeup done for a photoshoot that’ll help people get to know the real Jenelle and launch her makeup line. Supposedly her picture look angelic! I don’t think these people know what angelic means.
It’s Corey’s turn with Ali and Aleeah Grace. Leah’s busy FaceTiming with her friend Ashton. Leah tells her about the fight the twins got into over that book. “Next week, Gracie gets to go to therapy,” she says, as Addie is trying to interrupt. Gracie is excited about it, since it’s her time to feel understood. “We’ll see how all that pans out,” Leah says.
Kail is hanging with Bone and the kids. Her producer very openly asks her what’s happening with her and Dom. Kail smiles and says nothing’s happening. She’s single and she appreciates it. “I like her, but I can’t pour myself into one more human being,” she admits. Kail thinks she’s in a better place now, for sure.
Lincoln’s Birthday Mishap
Javi and Kail were super close to having a joint party for Lincoln, but Kail chose to separate them right when Javi said he’d be inviting Briana. I hope that at least means double presents for Lincoln. Kail states that she paid for the whole party with Javi, and that’s when Javi said Briana would be invited no matter what. Kail didn’t want any sort of animosity on her son’s birthday, which I respect, and wanted it to be all about Lincoln.
Looks like Chelsea is finally getting some screen time. Look, Chelsea might not be the most interesting, but her kids are pretty damn cute. Tomorrow, Chelsea has court to both change the visitation agreement between Aubree and Adam, and also hyphenate her last name to include DeBoer.
At a lunch with Briana and Brittany, Briana finally fesses up, saying that she’s officially dating Javi. She says she’ll be at Lincoln’s party, since Nova wants to hang with the boys. Even though Kail said the party was already paid for, Briana tells Brittany that she’s helped Javi find the venue. So, something about this doesn’t seem right. Brittany notes that it’s not like Javi was just Kail’s boyfriend — he was her husband, meaning they have a deeper connection. Briana still wants to try and make amends. Sure, Jan.
Jenelle Gets Real About Eyebrows
Jenelle is so amped to promote her new makeup line. She chats with her friend Jamie, who asks her about her trip to LA. Probably unscripted. Jenelle tells her all about her new eyebrow kit. “They want me really involved,” she said, saying she’ll be doing makeup tutorials someday on her website. Jenelle talks about how she changed her social media bio online that only promotes her makeup, and doesn’t mention David, and now everyone thinks they broke up. They didn’t. Even Nathan texts her about the rumor after seeing things circulate online.
Kail and Dom stop by Jo and Vee’s house, and thing are super cool and casual. Kail says that Briana started a group chat with her and Javi to say she’ll be in Delaware, which, LOL. The chat text ends with Bri calling her a dumb bitch. “She went from like, a zero to 100,” Kail said. “We had just gotten into a really good place,” she added, regarding Javi. But by doing all of this, now she wants nothing to do with him. And she doesn’t want to talk about him again on camera, even though she brought it up.
Leah talks to Gracie about her first time in therapy, but she’s not super interested. Leah tells her she’s being a little rude, and Gracie states she doesn’t really know how to start a conversation. She’s acting up a lot, rolling her eyes and kicking the seats and acting like a bratty teen. She’s not even ten yet! Leah handles her well, just saying she hopes the therapy works.
Will Aubree Be A Lind-DeBoer?
The next car shot belongs to Chelsea, who’s on her way to court. Chelsea wants to know if she’s being too ridiculous in terms of trying to protect Aubree this way, which, uh. He does a shit ton of drugs, so she’s totally in the right here. As MTV cameras can’t film inside, we get a recap as to what went down. Chelsea calls up Randy, her dad, and says the courts agreed to the name change and Adam’s visits at a center. Adam’ parents get to visit her once a month without Adam around, which is just fine.
While Chelsea’s thrilled, she admit Adam’s mom was really mean to her prior to talking with the judge. “I just feel like a weight is lifted off my shoulder,” she says between happy tears.
Briana heads to Delaware for the party and meets Javi’s family, giving the kids a hug. Briana brings him a baseball shirt with his name on it and a Power Ranger, so I guess she’s all about that bootlegging life. (I think it’s a Power Ranger. They said Power Ranger, but it wasn’t clear to me. Lincoln had an average reaction to it, so maybe he also couldn’t tell.)
Kail told the place the party’s at that she didn’t want cameras. “We’re still going to have fun,” Briana says. Javi thinks it’s super crazy, probably because nobody will be able to see how awesome his party is. But, yeah. It’s also somewhat of a control move.
Nathan’s Text
Back on The Land, Jenelle says David was pretty pissed with Nathan over the text he sent to Jenelle. Nathan talks to David’s mom during a Kaiser exchange, and tells her about the violent response her son sent to him, calling him a fag. “There’s so much said between all y’all,” she says, saying Nathan’s likely taking things out of context. “I hope the best for all of you.” Nathan states that David needs to get off drugs, and David’s mom is almost in tears saying that Nathan’s “not very nice.” Is…Is Nathan Jenelle’s most stable and reasonable relationship shown on Teen Mom 2?

Nathan says that David throwing the word “faggot” around as a derogatory word is the same as saying the n-word. “You just don’t do it,” he says to his girlfriend. His girlfriend hopes everyone can be civil one day, for Kaiser’s sake.
David’s mom tells Jenelle and David what happened, and it’s not totally accurate, unless a ton of the scene was on the cutting room floor. “I’d rather not see him anymore,” David’s mom says before stealing some pickles from her family. David threatens to break Nathan’s face. “I can’t take it anymore,” he states.
Talking About Therapy
Gracie’s appointment went well, and she was in a much better mood when she was done. Leah chats about it with Corey while Gracie is still in the car, hearing all of it. The two grab lunch together, and Leah said it was hard to talk about the way Gracie treats Ali. Leah almost gets choked up, saying it must be hard for Gracie to see other twins, since other twins are the same. Gracie and Ali, not so much.
Javi and Briana talk about their favorite topic. Kail. “Hopefully this stops someday,” Javi states. I’m still trying to figure out if their shirts (they were a matching family set, by the way) includes actual Power Rangers.
Aubree comes home from school ad sees unicorn cupcakes and a cake that says “Aubree Lind DeBoer.” Aubree is so happy that she “got the name” and gets hugs from both her actual parents. “Let’s have a DeBoer and Lind DeBoer hug,” Chelsea says. And that’s probably the last we’ll see of Chelsea until the reunion.
