Kelsey Grammer has been more invested in the ’80s and ’90s television reboots than you might have thought. There’s a rumor that he’s looking to get Frasier, the popular spinoff of Cheers, back on air.
The sitcom originally aired for 11 seasons, with their first premiere broadcasting on NBC in 1993. The question is, will the rest of the cast get on board?
The news comes from Deadline, who report that Grammer is currently in the midst of meeting with writers to see if they can pitch any good ideas for a revival. In my warped mind, it all took place due to some convincing letters sent by my superfan husband. So far, Grammer has yet to comment on the revival, or the blatant lie I just made up about my husband writing him letters. But Deadline is pretty reliable, so it’s safe to say this might actually happen.
Since sharing a video of the Frasier intro will just get it stuck in your head for a week, here’s a video of Kelsey Grammer falling off stage instead.
I won’t lie. I’ve watched this video like, 7 billion times. It’s just never been appropriate to fit into an article until now.
Yeah, okay, it might be mean. But he’s okay. This happened years ago.
Frasier’s father, Martin, was played by John Mahoney, who unfortunately passed away this year. If the reboot takes place, hopefully the writers will find a proper way to honor his memory.
You are terrible for showing the “Falling off stage” clip…. AGAin!
So how many letters has your hubby written? is he a fan of the “tossed salad and scrambled eggs” podcast?
