Raise your hand if you really hope that the season premiere of Saturday Night Live doesn’t focus on Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande. Here’s the good news — even though she’s super talented and likely welcome back at any time, the show isn’t using the dating buzz as an excuse to have her open their 44th season. But you’ve probably heard of the person who’s getting that honor.

Kanye West will be the musical guest, and he’s no stranger to Studio 8H. He’ll be paired with host Adam Driver, who hosted the show for the first time back in 2016.
